Finally, I want to help the Christian Church around the world. In the church, we have not handled the issue of marriage, divorce, and remarriage as well as we should have through the years. Instead, the Church has mostly relied on tradition and a few verses misinterpreted or taken out of context. My personal experience has caused me to really study the Bible on this issue for myself.

Chris grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, California. He attended Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, California. He received an Undergraduate Degree in Philosophy and Theology and a Masters of Ministry Degree. He is a certified Nouthetic Counselor and pursuing further education in Biblical Counseling. He has served for many years as a Senior Pastor in the Church of the Nazarene in Yorba Linda, California and now at New Hope in Kansas City, Missouri. His personal mission is to biblically lead himself, his family, and his church to make a positive impact for Jesus Christ on this generation. Chris has a wife named Rochelle and two daughters named Brookelynn and Anna. His favorite hobbies are playing tennis or watching Angels’ baseball.

Amazing story & guidance

An amazing book about the journey from an unhealthy marriage thru divorce, and happily married again while trying to maintain his pastoral position of the church. Pastor Chris has given me hope for the future & purpose for today to raise my children to Gods word.
