Exactly What the Title Says

No filler pages in this book. You can tell this book was something around 700-1000 pages when started and accompanied with 30+ years of experiences as opposed to other books that have a point but then waste your life with repetitiveness and unrelated topics. Distilled down to what it is now, you get exactly what you need to be "Healthy" and probably gives everyone a little something that they have forgotten or have never done that is basic, important or worth observation.
Thankfully, Chek has left his relatively, incoherent babbling about spirituality to his Youtube channels. It's not that what Chek says isn't true or dumb but is something that is very, very difficult to put into words. Things that are more easily measured (dieting, movement, balances and imbalances, etc) are what he stays focused on. I believe things about spirituality tend to be more personal experienced, and we use art and religious language (bathed in the blood of the lamb) to communicate what (or the emotions) we've experienced to other people.
Chek's bread and butter is with movement and muscles, and you get a glimpse into his philosophy and holistic approach to life in this book. Chek has done a good job distilling the essentials into a relatively small book where each page oozes with essential info.
I give this 4 stars because I wish his other items (DVD's, Books, Articles, etc.) were readily available on Amazon since there is more to learn from this man and I think he can give us something better, thicker and meatier. Maybe a specially enhanced authors version?

This book changed my life

If you are interested in holistic health, then this is the right book for you. I was initially turned off by the textbook approach to health, but once I started finding useful principles that I could actually apply, I knew the purchase was worth it. The information is presented in a very matter of fact type of way and I've been fortunate to have it dispel many of the myths regarding health that I've accepted as true over the years. I'm no longer wasting my time with fad diets and counting every calorie in every meal. Who has time for that? I am constantly learning to understand my body and give it what it needs (which is not always what it wants), when it needs it. Some topics could go more in depth, but then the book would likely need a Part II. This book is for anyone looking to learn about overall health and why certain things will (and will not) work for the body based on your specific eating habits/type. Highly recommend!

great book, lives up to its name

There’s not much more I can say that others haven't. I was first told about the book from a fitness instructor. As a former athlete, I thought I knew it all when it came to fitness and training...boy how wrong I was. For example, I used lift a lot of weights, but wouldn’t stretch unless I was about to play basketball. Even when I did, it was minimal stretching...and I wondered why I kept re-aggravating old college injuries, and why my body wouldn’t "heal" like it used to. I know better now, even though I’m still a work in progress, there have been great improvements in fitness and how good I feel every day. I also eat MUCH better, and get more quality rest going to bed by 10 (well around 10, I'm not perfect, lol)
I have even given out copies of this book to both younger and older family members as well. It’s been a great benefit to me and my family, and I highly encourage EVERYONE to read this book and make the positive life changes to have a healthier, happier life.
